Glass fibre
9 mm

Glass fibre consists of the finest glass fibres up to 12 mm long. Glass fibre is an environmentally friendly material, free of harmful additives, not subject to rot and corrosion. Construction mortars with the addition of glass fibre have a high degree of adhesion to any coating (masonry, concrete, wooden base, etc.).

for glass fibre
When making concrete mortars, glass fibre is added to increase the resistance to cracking, deformation, abrasion, temperature fluctuations and water in the ready-mix concrete. The strength properties of fibre concrete become comparable to those of reinforced concrete, which makes it possible in some cases to use glass fibre instead of steel reinforcement (if concrete structures are not the basis for load-bearing slabs).

In concrete reinforced with glass fibre, compared to unreinforced concrete, the bending and tensile strength increases 3−5 times, impact strength — 10−12 times, the compressive strength increases.
  • Industrial floors, cement concrete road surfaces;
  • Production of composite (fibreglass) reinforcement;
  • Screed, underfloor heating;
  • Reinforced concrete, concrete structures and products;
  • Cellular concrete (foam concrete, non-autoclaved aerated concrete);
  • Dry construction mixtures (pouring floors, plasters, repair compounds) ;
  • Small piece products, complex profile products, small architectural forms;
  • Paving slabs
  • Production of underground and railway transport cars;
Application of glass fibre
The main advantage of glass fibre reinforcement over reinforcement with other types of fibres is that it gives mortars high resistance to cracking and delamination during setting, inhibits the separation of cement "milk", and reduces the amount of deformation during shrinkage.
